Looking for friendly fitness classes in Redditch? Whether you want to build strength, improve flexibility, increase your fitness or simply find a fun way to stay active, there’s something for everyone at Keep Fit with Michelle.

Perhaps you’re new to exercise, returning after a break or looking for something different from a traditional gym.

Whatever your starting point, finding a fitness class you enjoy can make all the difference.

I’m Michelle, and I’ve been running community fitness classes in the Redditch area for over 22 years. My aim has always been simple: to help people feel stronger, healthier and more confident while genuinely enjoying exercise.

All my classes take place at Mappleborough Green Village Hall, conveniently located between Redditch and Studley.

And the best bit? You don’t have to be fit before you start!

What Fitness Classes Do I Offer in Redditch?

One of the things I love about teaching is being able to offer different types of exercise to suit different interests, abilities and fitness goals.

Here’s a little guide to help you decide which class might be right for you.

Pilates Classes in Redditch

If you’re looking to improve your core strength, posture, balance and flexibility, Pilates could be a great place to start.

My Pilates classes focus on controlled movements that help strengthen your body, improve mobility and develop better body awareness.

They’re suitable for beginners as well as people with previous Pilates experience, with different exercise options so you can work at your own level.

Perfect if you want to: Improve flexibility, strengthen your core, work on posture and enjoy a more controlled style of exercise.

Weights for Women โ€“ Strength Training in Redditch

Strength training isn’t just about lifting heavy weights or building big muscles.

It’s about feeling stronger in everyday life!

My Weights for Women classes use dumbbells and weighted bars to help improve muscular strength, support bone health and build confidence.

You’ll learn exercises with guidance and encouragement, starting with weights that suit your ability.

There’s no cardio or floorwork in this particular class, making it an appealing option for women who want to concentrate on strength training.

Perfect if you want to: Build strength, improve muscle tone and feel more confident using weights.

Women’s Strength & Stretch

This class brings together two important parts of fitness: building strength and maintaining flexibility.

It’s a lovely combination for women who want to keep their muscles strong while also making time for stretching and mobility.

As we get older, both strength and flexibility can play an important role in helping us move comfortably and confidently.

Perfect if you want to: Combine strength training with stretching and mobility work.

Body Blitz โ€“ Strength, Toning & Low-Impact Cardio

Body Blitz is an energetic interval-style workout combining strength, muscular endurance and low-impact cardiovascular exercise.

We use different exercises and timed intervals to keep the class interesting and challenging.

You can adjust the intensity, making it suitable for a range of fitness levels.

Perfect if you want to: Improve stamina, build strength and enjoy a varied full-body workout.

Kettlebell Boost

Kettlebell training is a fantastic way to combine strength, coordination and cardiovascular fitness.

Using kettlebells, we work through exercises that challenge different muscle groups and help develop functional strength.

Don’t worry if kettlebells are new to you. I’ll guide you through the movements and help you choose an appropriate starting point.

Perfect if you want to: Build strength, improve stamina and try something a little different.

Over 50s Fitness Classes in Redditch

Staying active as we get older is incredibly important, but exercise should also be enjoyable!

My Over 50s Fitness classes focus on helping you maintain strength, mobility, balance and general fitness in a friendly, supportive environment.

There’s great music, plenty of encouragement and the opportunity to meet other people who enjoy keeping active.

Perfect if you want to: Stay active, maintain independence, improve fitness and enjoy exercising with others.

Take a Look Inside My Fitness Classes!

Wondering what my classes are actually like?

Sometimes it’s much easier to see for yourself than to read about them!

I’ve put together a video showing some of the different classes I teach at Keep Fit with Michelle.

You’ll get a little glimpse of the exercises, the atmosphere and the lovely community we’ve created together.

And don’t worry if some of the exercises look challenging. I provide different options and encourage everyone to work at their own pace.

There’s no competition, no judgement and definitely no expectation that you should be able to do everything straight away!

Are My Redditch Fitness Classes Suitable for Beginners?

Absolutely!

One of the things I hear most often is:

“I’d love to join, Michelle, but I’m not fit enough.”

And my answer is always the same.

You don’t come to a fitness class because you’re already fit. You come to become fitter!

Everyone starts somewhere.

You don’t need previous experience, and you certainly don’t need to worry about keeping up with the person next to you.

I’ll explain the exercises, offer alternatives where appropriate and encourage you to work at a level that’s right for you.

And if you’re feeling nervous about coming along for the first time, please remember that everyone in the room was new once.

More Than Just Exercise โ€“ A Friendly Fitness Community

One of the things I’m most proud of is the wonderful community we’ve built at Keep Fit with Michelle.

Yes, we work hard, improve our fitness and challenge ourselves.

But we also laugh, chat, encourage one another and enjoy spending time together.

For many members, coming to class has become an important part of their weekly routine.

It’s an opportunity to look after their health, make friendships and enjoy a little time just for themselves.

You might come for the exercise, but it’s the people who make it special ๐Ÿ’•
