Pilates is a form of exercise suitable for everyone – men and women of all ages and fitness levels. It is a low-impact conditioning class using simple effective movements, helping correct imbalances, improve posture, develop core stability, release stress and prevent injuries.

The class is suitable for beginners as all exercises have beginner, intermediate and advanced options. There is a lovely relaxation section at the end to really help you unwind and relax.

How does it work?

This is an equipment-based Pilates class that builds on the traditional mat work exercises by incorporating small props to deepen the workout and add variety and support. Tools such as Pilates rings, light weights and mini balls enhance the classic Pilates principles of core control, alignment, breath, and precision.

Classes are designed to strengthen the deep abdominal and back muscles that support your spine, while also toning the hips, glutes, legs, and arms. Movements are slow and intentional, making the workout accessible to beginners yet easily adjustable to challenge more experienced participants. All classes are taught with the beginner level first and then progressed at the choice of each participant. There is no pressure and everyone is encouraged to focus on themselves and enjoy the class at each chosen level.

Expect a calm, focused atmosphere where quality of movement matters more than speed. You’ll leave feeling stronger, more balanced, and refreshed — with better body awareness and reduced tension.
